Many of the festival-goers will start arriving on Wednesday to set up camp and most will be leaving again on Monday morning. National Highways has advised commuters to follow the signposted routes around the area and not to rely on sat navs, to ensure smoother and quicker journeys to the festival site. And anyone traveling on the roads around the festival is being warned they could encounter heavy traffic with the event kicking off on Friday, June 10. The five-day event on the grounds surrounding Donington Park Circuit is set to attract thousands of music fans. Rock and metal fans are expected to cause delays in the roads around South Derbyshire as the UK's biggest rock festival returns.
